The Bolduc Lab is interested in understanding the molecular basis of intellectual disability and memory formation.
We use a simple model to investigate memory in Drosophila (fruit fly) and its relation to human disease such as intellectual disability and autism. Drosophila are also used to investigate disorders affecting locomotion and motor function.
We use cutting-edge technology in human patients with intellectual disability and autism to discover novel genes associated with these conditions.
We have a Volunteer Program!
Our FragileX Clinic Volunteer Program gives you the opportunity to work with patients in the hospital. You will interact with children with ID and help to support them through their clinic appointment by keeping them engaged and happy during the appointment.
Join the program to volunteer in one of our clinics or laboratory activities. Email us with inquiries!
